Who we are
Helpchaseclean.com is my way of giving back to the place that has given me so much. As an avid bodyboarder and surfer on Oʻahu, I spend most of my days in the ocean, and I’ve seen firsthand how trash and plastic can quickly turn a beautiful lineup or shoreline into something that harms both marine life and our community. This project is my promise to show up for the beaches, the ʻāina (land), and the kai (ocean) that have shaped who I am.
Help Chase Clean started with a simple idea: cleaning up beaches together can be fun, meaningful, and a powerful way to meet new friends. When we grab a bag, walk the sand, and pick up what doesn’t belong, we’re not just removing trash—we’re building community, sharing laughs, and leaving each spot better than we found it. Every cleanup is a chance to connect: with the waves, with the shoreline, and with people who care about the same things.
My team and I care deeply about both the land and the ocean, and we want better for everyone—locals, visitors, keiki, and future generations. You don’t have to be a surfer, a pro environmentalist, or have a whole day free to make a difference. One piece of trash, one short cleanup, one small action matters. Helpchaseclean.com is an invitation: come out, join a beach cleanup, start one of your own, or simply pick up what you see on your daily walk. Together, no matter how small each effort seems, we can keep our home cleaner, safer, and more full of aloha.
